About the role
We are looking for an Associate Nurse Manager within Scrub/Scout to lead our orthopaedic unit.  
 
As someone who has strong knowledge and expertise within the Perioperative service, you will work alongside and support the Nursing staff, and broader team, in providing patient centered care.
 
The role will see you liaising with a wide set of internal and external stakeholders, therefore the ability to engage and build strong relationships with effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.  You will have a demonstrated skills in providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care in line with Monash Health’s guiding principles in Excellence in Timely Care (EiTC) and iCare values. 
From admission of the patient, through the peri-operative phase to discharge, your compassionate nature will see you excel in this roles.
 
Full Time, permanent position within Scrub/Scout - Orthopaedic speciality - Part time will be considered.
Orthopaedic experience is essential
 
About us
Our Operating Suite is located at Monash Children's Hospital within a new purpose-built facility, featuring state of the art equipment within its four theatres & procedure room providing services to 4,000 patients a year!   
 
Our main surgical specialties include, orthopaedics, plastics, general surgery, urology, ENT and endoscopy.
We also support anaesthetics in off the floor areas such as MRI and the Children’s Cancer Centre.    
It is a fast-paced busy environment, where compassionate care for our young patients and their families is our number one priority.
