Monash Health Radiology is seeking a Billing Administration Officer to support our high-performing imaging services across multiple hospital sites. 

 

About Us 

Monash Health is Victoria’s largest and most comprehensive health service, delivering over 3.8 million episodes of care annually. Our Radiology department spans major hospitals including Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, and more, performing over 460,000 imaging examinations each year. 

 

About the Role

As a Billing Administration Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing across our radiology services. Reporting to the Billing Supervisor, you’ll collaborate closely with Finance and Imaging teams to manage billing processes, audits, and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and regular billing of radiology services 

  • Process finance rejections and perform audits 

  • Generate and assist with month-end reports 

  • Maintain and update billing documentation for training and backfill 

  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Veterans Affairs, TAC, Workcover, and private health fund regulations 

  • Support billing for research and prostheses 

 

About You

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2–3 years of billing/accounts payable experience (preferably in public hospital settings) 

  • Strong knowledge of billing regulations and systems (e.g., RIS, PBRC, iPM, WebPAS) 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite 

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check 

  • Immunisation documentation 

  • Employment Agreement prior to commencement
