About the Role  

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual who has outstanding leadership and customer service skills to join the team at Monash Medical Centre Specialist Consulting (Outpatients), Clayton.  Our Clinic Coordinators provide strong leadership to our clinic administration team and support services to our clinical teams and their patients, located across a number of locations in Clayton Hospital. The Specialist Consulting (Outpatients) team is responsible for ensuring the patient experience is second to none. The patient is treated with respect and dignity while seeking the support and services of Monash Health.   

 

About You  

You are a proactive, experienced and motivated healthcare administrator and leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  Working in a hospital environment doesn’t faze you and you are able to maintain and demonstrate integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.   

 

What you bring:

  • Communication skills and teamwork are extremely important in this role as you will be working in a diverse team.
  • You are a proactive and experienced healthcare administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working in a hospital environment doesn’t faze you and you are able to maintain and demonstrate integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. 
  • A leadership approach to your work responsibilities and enjoy coaching and training others to achieve successful outcomes.  

 

You will also demonstrate: 

  • Previous experience identifying and implementing changes to processes and procedures  
  • Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills  
  • Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously  
  • Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of areas  
  • A quality focus whilst ensuring work is completed within the required time frames  
  • A flexible approach to staggered start and finish times
