Monash Health is seeking a dedicated and professional team member to join our Fertility Service at Monash Women’s Clayton in a part-time role.
About the Role
As the welcoming face of our outpatient fertility clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through an important and often emotional stage of their lives. Working within a caring and collaborative team, you will help ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a service providing comprehensive reproductive health care to the rapidly growing communities of Melbourne’s south-east.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Warmly greet and assist patients with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule appointments and manage clinician calendars efficiently
- Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries with clarity and care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Monash systems
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks with high attention to detail
- Coordinate general office operations
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff
What We’re Looking For
To ensure success in the role, you can demonstrate the following:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare of patient facing administrative roles
- A caring, patient-focused approach
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and scheduling systems (or willingness to learn)
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Commitment to patient centred care
Not essential but highly regarded:
- Experience in fertility, women's health or specialist outpatient services
- Knowledge of public health systems and processes
- Experience across a large organisation such as Monash Health
- Certificate in Medical Administration or health Administration
