Clinical Digital Learning Specialist
-
- Care, reimagined
- Design and deliver innovative learning that builds clinical digital capability
- Permanent, full time role, hybrid workplace model
Shape digital learning experiences that meet clinicians where they are.
Great digital systems only deliver when the people using them are confident, capable and supported. This role is about bringing clinical digital learning to life — designing and delivering engaging, modern learning experiences that move our clinicians from system training to genuine digital capability.
As a Clinical Digital Learning Specialist, you'll be a key member of our newly established Clinical Digital Learning Practice within the Department of Clinical Informatics, turning our Clinical Digital Learning Framework into practical tools, content and experiences that clinicians value and use.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new practice while making a direct, hands-on difference to how clinicians learn.
About The Role
Reporting to the Manager Clinical Digital Learning Practice, you'll design and implement innovative learning solutions aligned to the Clinical Digital Learning Framework, delivering scalable approaches that rapidly build digital capability and literacy across our clinical workforce.
Working within an agile, innovative team, you'll integrate clinical digital learning into onboarding, ongoing professional development and project and enhancement programs, and — where needed — help transition current training approaches into modern learning tools and resources. You'll collaborate closely with Clinical Change Specialists and Clinical Informaticians so that learning and change are aligned, and you'll provide learning expertise to projects as required.
Success in the role will be measured across three key areas:
-
- Implementing clinical digital learning tools and resources
- Collaboration with Clinical Informatics and Digital Change to support innovation and benefits realisation
- Stakeholder engagement and trusted relationship development
This Full Time, ongoing role is based in our hybrid workplace, with at least three days each week on site and flexibility to work from home. Travel across Monash Health sites will be required.
About You
You understand that successful digital transformation is about people — not just technology. You're a learning practitioner who enjoys creating engaging, practical learning experiences and seeing them land in real clinical environments.
You bring strong design and delivery skills, an eye for the learner's experience, and the ability to make complex digital systems feel approachable. You build relationships easily, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities with confidence.
You'll also bring:
-
- Demonstrated success implementing organisational learning frameworks, tools and/or artefacts
- Ability to undertake a Learning Needs Analysis, contribute to digital transformation, develop LMS content and design for learner experience
- An understanding of the digital learning requirements needed to uplift digital literacy and capability
- Extensive stakeholder engagement, partnership development and customer-focused service delivery
- Capability in analytics-driven learning evaluation and reporting
- Proven ability to manage time and prioritise effectively where deadlines compete
- Certification or postgraduate qualifications in Education, Learning, Organisational Development, Instructional Design or equivalent (health qualifications will be highly regarded)
