Job Overview
We are looking for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) an Documentation and Orders Application Specialist who is responsible for comprehending the complexities, design, and workflows of the Monash Health EMR solution. This role focuses on ensuring the effective integration and optimisation of clinical documentation, orders, and results within the EMR system. The application specialist will work closely with Monash Health stakeholders to ensure that the EMR system meets the unique needs of users, enhancing workflow efficiency, accuracy, and patient care within the EMR.

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant's key responsibility is to engage with clinical and operational teams to design, test, and refine documentation and orders, ensuring that the system’s functionality aligns with departmental workflows, regulatory requirements, and best clinical practices.
- Delivery of design, testing, implementation and maintenance of the clinical documentation and orders solution for Powerchart, Firstnet and Patient portal applications
- Configure and maintain functions including but not limited to mPages, Interactive view, Powerforms, dynamic documentation and flowsheets
- Support concurrent projects and EMR enhancement initiatives
