Monash Heart is a leading unified cross-site cardiology service of Monash Health located at Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and at the newest premier site, Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH).
The Victorian Heart Hospital is Australia’s first dedicated cardiac hospital providing innovative, holistic patient-centred care for all Victorians. The first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and a standalone hospital, housing all on one campus, world-ranking Monash University and the Victorian Heart Institute, it combines world-class clinical care, research, education and training, representing a powerful model of collaboration, innovation and excellence. The VHH Clinical Trials department is a self-funded, independent research group based within the VHH, conducting comprehensive clinical trials across all phases (1 to 4) to advance cardiovascular care.
Clinical Research Coordinator, Victorian Heart Hospital
We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Research Coordinator who is familiar with the care of cardiovascular patients, to coordinate clinical trials conducted by the structural heart team at VHH in our new purpose built clinical trials space in the Victorian Heart Hospital. We are a busy and expanding research unit participating in an increasing number of major international, multi-centre clinical trials, including first in human studies and investigator driven research and are at the forefront of cardiovascular research.

- 1.0 FTE (80 hours per week, eligible for ADOs), ongoing position
About You
As an accomplished nurse, you take pride in working collaboratively across a supportive multidisciplinary team. To ensure your success in this role, you will have following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Current Division 1 nursing qualification
- Relevant post-graduate tertiary or equivalent healthcare qualifications
- Previous clinical trial experience preferred, but not essential
- Background knowledge in cardiology preferred, but not essential
- Full Victorian Drivers Licence
