Clinical Research Coordinator - Nephrology (Nurse) 

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience in clinical research within a dynamic and dedicated team committed to improving patient care. The Nephrology Clinical Research Unit at Monash Health, Clayton, is seeking a Research Nurses part time positions - 1 x0.5EFT permanent on-going and 1 x 0.4EFT fixed term ending in February, 2027. 

  

About the Role 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with sponsors, Principal Investigators, clinical staff, and theatre teams.  

  • Conduct patient pre-screening and recruitment.  

  • Manage informed consent processes.  

  • Collect and enter protocol-driven data.  

  • Complete electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and coordinate follow-up activities.  

  • Provide in-service education to relevant staff.  

Patients will be recruited from renal clinics, referrals, and departmental databases.  

 

Support Provided:  

  • Experienced coordinators will assist with orientation and processes.  

  • Principal and sub-investigators will provide clinical direction.  

  • Sponsors will deliver protocol training and ongoing support.  

  • Travel allowance for satellite sites (own vehicle required; Monash Health parking access necessary).  

  

About You 

Requirements: 

  • Registered Nurse (clinical research experience highly desired .  

  • Current ICH-GCP certification or willingness to complete prior to commencement.  

  • Strong computer skills.  

  • Flexibility with hours (typically 8:00 am – 4:30 pm).  

  • Must be able to travel between satellite sites in own car and have access to parking at Monash Health sites.  

  

Additional Information:

  • Manager’s approval for secondment.  

  • Current driver’s licence and vehicle.  

  • Access to Monash Health parking.  

  • Valid passport
