About the Role
The Clinical Trials Administrative Officer provides essential administrative, logistical and organisational support for the effective and efficient running of Monash Children’s Clinical Trials Centre across multiple studies and activities within the unit. The position is based at Monash Children’s Hospital at Clayton. The Clinical Trials Administrative Officer:
- Provides high quality administrative support to the Monash Children’s Clinical Trials Centre staff.
- Conducts themselves professionally and positively, displaying a strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail at all times.
About Us
Monash Children’s Clinical Trials Centre is a dedicated unit within the 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital, supporting a broad portfolio of phase II–IV clinical trials across multiple paediatric specialties. The centre facilitates access to innovative therapies for children with unmet medical needs and is equipped with outpatient and inpatient facilities, experienced research staff, and integrated trials pharmacy and pathology services through the Monash Health Translation Precinct.
About You
You are an experienced Administration Officer who is confident in their ability to work unsupervised following Good Clinical Practise. You will be dedicated to safe best practice & quality care.
What You Need (italics indicate desirable):
- Minimum 1 year relevant finance and administration experience
- Degree qualification or studying for a degree qualification in science or related discipline
- Knowledge of finance principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork, and a proven ability to relate effectively to people at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in clinical trials
- Experience and understanding of Ethics Research Management system.
