About Us
The main purpose of this position is to effectively and efficiently assist in the Coordination and processing of the Oncology clinical trials Laboratory samples collected in the unit. Ensuring that all relevant data is obtained, logged and that procedures are followed so that the samples are processed in a timely manner according to the protocol and in accordance with the SOP’s of the unit . The Laboratory Assistant will work and support the Laboratory coordinators to support the 6 Clinical Trials Teams as well as, in conjunction with the Monash Health MHTP staff in the Clinical Trials Centre. The position will be based at Monash Health Medical Centre MHTP Trials Centre at Clayton.
About the Role
Join our Oncology Research Department as part of the busy Laboratory Team, whose role it is to support the unit in facilitating the collection, processing, storage and shipment of critical clinical trial patient samples.

About Us
Oncology Clinical Trials unit is a large department within Monash Oncology and mainly running out of MHTP Clayton.
The role supports 6 clinical teams in trials in Early Phase Oncology, GU, GI, Lung, Breast and Gynae.
