About the Role

Join our team as a Clinical Trials Workforce Development Pharmacist on a full-time ongoing basis (part-time considered) as part of the Monash Health Pharmacy Department, where your expertise drives innovation, your leadership inspires growth, and your work directly impacts patient care across Victoria’s largest public health service.

This is a unique opportunity to become a key driver of capability and excellence in clinical trials pharmacy. As the Clinical Trials Workforce Development Pharmacist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of clinical trials at Monash Health by mentoring, educating, and empowering our pharmacy workforce.

You’ll be embedded within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver world-class care across inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings.

What Your Day Might Look Like

  • Lead education and training initiatives for pharmacists and technicians involved in clinical trials.
  • Act as a specialist resource, supporting clinical trial workflows and systems including EMR and Merlin.
  • Drive quality improvement and research projects that enhance clinical trial services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build capability and foster innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice learning environments and advanced practice pathways.

About You

You’re a passionate and experienced hospital pharmacist with a strong interest in clinical trials and workforce development. You lead by example, inspire others, and thrive in collaborative environments. You’re ready to take the next step in your career and make a lasting impact.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
  • A commitment to research, education, and professional contribution.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Master of Clinical Pharmacy) highly regarded.
