About the Monash Health Foundation 

The Monash Health Foundation is the fundraising department within Monash Health. We are responsible for building meaningful partnerships with our donors and soliciting philanthropic support to purchase new equipment, invest in programs, research and people to enable Monash Health to provide the best care to consumers and their families.  

The Monash Health Foundation is looking for the best talent to join a dedicated, high-energy team of professionals who are relentless in the pursuit of excellence, in support of the Monash Health Strategic Plan.  

  

About the Role 

Join our team as a Communications Coordinator (Foundation) part time (0.6) with the opportunity to enjoy hybrid arrangements, working primarily at our Clayton campus with travel to other Monash Health facilities as required. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Communications Manager (Foundation) and working with the broader Monash Health Foundation team.  

This position will support the fulfillment of the communications requirements of the Monash Health Foundation through the following:  

  • Providing communications advice and support to the Monash Health Foundation  

  • Coordinating the Monash Health Foundation’s communication tools.    

  • Developing creative content – for print and digital mediums   

  • Managing relationships with key external suppliers  

  

About You  

Bring your talent and passion for communications to create meaningful impact and advance the strategic objectives of the Monash Health Foundation. 

  • Develop engaging content, to inspire fundraising.  

  • Be part of a small but dynamic and supportive team.

To be successful in this healthcare role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:  

  • Experience in a communications role   

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills  

  • Proven ability to execute complex tasks to completion within tight timeframes.  

  • Experience in health services is not essential but will be favourably considered  

  

Mandatory requirements of the role:  

  • Degree in Communications, Professional Writing, Public Relations or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.   

  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
