The Monash Health Foundation is seeking a Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator, to fill a 12 month parental leave vacancy (Full-time, through to July 2026).  

As a key member of the Monash Health Foundation, you will be responsible for implementing the Community Fundraising and Events strategy to grow and support Monash Health Foundation’s fundraising events and managing the end-to-end impactful delivery of supporter engagement events.  

We are searching for the best talent to join our dedicated, high-energy team who are relentless in the pursuit of excellence, in support of the Monash Health Strategic Plan.  

  

About the Role

Reporting to the Community Fundraising & Events Manager, the Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Community Fundraising program, managing the online fundraising portal and providing guidance to the Community Fundraising & Events Assistant. The successful applicant will:  

  • implement the Community Fundraising & Events strategy 

  • manage a portfolio of events 

  • be responsible for the online fundraising program 

  • be required to work outside of ordinary hours from time to time 

 

About Us

The Monash Health Foundation is the fundraising department within Monash Health. Responsible for building meaningful partnerships with our donors and soliciting philanthropic support to purchase new equipment, invest in programs, research and people to enable Monash Health to provide the best care. 

The Monash Health Foundation is located at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, you will be required to travel to other Monash Health sites and event locations. 

  

About You

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: 

  • A degree qualification in a relevant field with relevant experience; or 

  • experience in and an understanding of the NFP and philanthropy sector 

  • fundraising experience within the Public Health sector is an advantage 

  • hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
