Our service

The Monash Children's (MC) Complex Care service supports and coordinates care needs and requirements for families with babies/ children with complex medical/ nursing needs who require ongoing medical intervention beyond a hospital admission. The program is delilvered in close in partnership with the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Complex Care Hub.

 

About you

You are a Registered Nurse and a strong “people person” with a clinical background in Paediatrics. You are passionate about providing patient and family-centred care that is underpinned by best practice. You have advanced clinical skill and knowledge related to chronic and complex Paediatric care, and the use of medical equipment in the home setting. You are an independent practitioner who will engage with the broader team with outstanding communication and documentation skills.

 

What you need

  • Current acute Paediatric nursing experience and relevant qualifications 

  • Proven people and communication skills including relationship building, cooperation, conflict resolution, influencing others and facilitating open discussions. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as consulting and collaborating with others to deliver outcomes. 

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
