Compliance and Sustainability Manager
Monash Health is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Compliance and Sustainability Manager to lead our mandatory facilities compliance and drive sustainability outcomes across our extensive network of hospitals and healthcare sites.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure we meet all statutory and regulatory obligations within Facilities and Engineering, while also shaping the systems, processes, and frameworks that support safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of critical infrastructure. You will oversee mandatory compliance programs, optimise engineering management systems, and lead key initiatives that contribute to Monash Health’s long-term environmental and emissions-reduction goals.
This is a rare opportunity to influence organisational compliance excellence while advancing sustainable engineering practices at Victoria’s largest public health service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading facilities statutory and regulatory compliance across all Monash Health sites
- Ensuring compliance reporting milestones and obligations are consistently met
- Optimising engineering systems, processes, and data to drive operational performance
- Overseeing accurate and meaningful compliance data to support evidence-based decisions
- Driving sustainability initiatives and supporting the implementation of the Emissions Reduction Plan
- Contributing to asset lifecycle planning and the sustainable management of critical infrastructure
About You
You are a proactive and detail-driven leader with strong knowledge of engineering compliance, sustainability practices, and facilities operations. You bring a systems-thinking approach, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for safe, reliable, and sustainable service delivery.
