About Oncology Clinical Trials
The Oncology Clinical trials clinician will be a key member of a busy and large academic medical oncology unit based at the Clayton campus of Monash Health. The clinician will provide clinical care to patients enrolled on phase I, phase II and phase III cancer clinical trials across their tumour stream portfolio. Trials clinics will be conducted at MHTP, at which the clinician will be expected to actively participate.The Clinician will also be expected to engage in translational research with opportunities for writing manuscripts, involvement in projects and attendance at national and international conferences. The clinician will also be supported in developing protocols. The clinician will assist with administration regarding collection and presentation of metrics for the Clinical Trials Unit.
The clinician will participate in the afterhours on call service as first on call. The on-call role is largely telephone based, but there is an infrequent need for call back to attend high acuity patients at the Clayton campus or occasionally the Moorabbin campus. Participation at clinical meetings will include case presentations and journal article reviews.
About You
What you need:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Fellowship of the RACS or equivalent
- Working with Children's Certificate
- Membership with RACS and ASOHNS

Important Information to Note
Offers of employment can only be made once all required probity checks have been completed.

The incumbent must complete the Credentialing and Scope of Practice process prior to appointment and commencement. This will be reviewed on a regular basis. As part of our selection process, you may be invited by email to participate in an on-camera video interview.
