About Monash Children’s Hospital
Monash Children’s Hospital is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, with more than 30 specialist services and programs. We have Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in many areas including Rehabilitation, Oncology, Diabetes and Eating Disorders.
About The Role
This position provides an exciting opportunity to join the paediatric endocrinology team at Monash Children’s’ Hospital as locum. The role includes outpatient clinics in diabetes and endocrinology, working closely with the multidisciplinary team in the Department of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and participation in a 1 in 5 on call roster. The successful candidate will be expected to provide supervision of junior staff and be involved in teaching of junior medical staff and medical students.

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)

Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an innovative approach

Has the appropriate level of clinical knowledge and skills to undertake the role of Consultant
-
Has the appropriate level of relevant clinical experience to undertake the specific role
