At Monash Health, our Intensive Care Units (ICUs) provide a journey across the lifespan, offering faster access to critical care and highly skilled staff to the communities of Victoria's South East when they need it most.

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed by a team of compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals. As we continue to enhance our services, we are now seeking experienced and qualified Critical Care Registered Nurses to join our ICU team.

We have multiple Part time / Full time ongoing positions available across all our ICU sites.   

Please list your preferred locations in order of preference from the following options: Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, and the Victorian Heart Hospital.

1.      Diverse Specialties: Our Adult Intensive Care Units work collaboratively with other critical care areas and teams across all sites as one Program.

Monash Medical Centre Clayton Adult ICU is a 27-bed tertiary referral centre specializing in Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Obstetrics, General Medicine, and Surgery, with over 1900 admissions per year.

Dandenong Hospital ICU is a 14-bed unit specializing in Colorectal, General Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Vascular, and General Medicine patients.

Casey Hospital - is a 12-bed general Medical/Surgical unit specialising in Urology, Obstetrics and post-operative surgical care.

Victorian Heart Hospital - Newly built state-of-the-art 16-bed service to deliver a modern model of excellence in care to complex cardiac patients supported by a team of critical care nurses and a multidisciplinary cardiac team.  The Victorian Heart Hospital Intensive Cardiac Care Unit  we provide cardiothoracic care and nurse-led EMCO service

What We Look For:

We are seeking a suitably qualified Critical Care Registered Nurse with a passion for and demonstrated experience in ICU to become a valuable part of our critical care team.

As a pivotal front-line role providing care within a dynamic, fast-paced setting, you must be committed to providing evidence-based, patient and family-centred care and be motivated to seek opportunities to further upskill and master your ICU expertise.

What you need:

• Postgraduate Qualification in Critical Care or willingness to pursue it. 
• ICU Transition to Specialty Practice as a minimum
• Current clinical experience
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
