Customer Service & Admissions Department at Clayton has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, experienced and professional Administration Officer’s to join our team as a Customer Service/iPM Admissions Administration Officer!

Permanent Part Time - 5 shifts per fortnight at Monash Medical Centre

Casual Position working across MCH, MMC, Moorabbin and VHH
About the Role
Being the first point of entry to the hospital your primary responsibilities will include:

Provide exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone

Utilise multiple software systems to navigate and assist consumers
-
Complete and ensure timely and accurate data entry when admitting and updating patient details on the Patient administrative system (iPM), VAED audit reports and other data entry administrative duties as required (as outlined on the attached PD)
Operating Hours
The Monash Medical Centre (MMC) Clayton Main Reception/Admissions Department is open 7 days per week. Shift start and finish times may vary between 7am and finish at 8pm with the potential of operating hours to be changed and extended as the service continues to grow
Staff may also be required to travel to other Monash Health sites.
About You
We are seeking people to join our patient-focused team who possess the following:

Excellent customer relations skills, strong clerical/ admin skills, and experience with medical terminology including iPM, SMR, and EMR computer systems.

Flexibility in availability, rostering and working shifts is essential.

Thrive in a busy and multitasked workplace

Have a passion and are able to learn new systems and processes quickly

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrate interpersonal understanding by demonstrating empathy and sensitivity to feelings of others.

Administrative experience in a Health related field will be looked upon favourably

Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in timely manner
