About the Role
Monash Health is reimagining the way care is led and delivered. As part of our refreshed organisational structure, we’re building a leadership team designed for the future. The Deputy Operations Manager – Older Adult Mental Health plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care across our Mental Health services.
This senior leadership role reports to the Operations Manager Adult and Older Adult Mental Health. If appointed, you will contribute to the strategic, clinical and operations management of Older Adult Mental Health services. You’ll help drive performance, support workforce development and reinforce a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your specific responsibilities will include:

Supporting service delivery aligned with Monash Health’s strategic goals

Promoting high-quality patient outcomes and safe care

Assisting with resource planning, budgeting and performance monitoring

Contributing to workforce engagement and professional development

Supporting the implementation of contemporary models of care

Building and retaining strong relationships across clinical and non-clinical teams
This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site and operates during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. Some travel between Monash Health sites will be required and a current Driver’s Licence is a mandatory requirement for this role.
About You
Holding tertiary qualifications in nursing/midwifery, medicine or allied health and currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration with the peak professional body for non AHPRA Registered professions, you can readily demonstrate recent leadership and management experience.
