Grade 2 Dietitian | Full-time | Ongoing | Clayton

 

 

About the Role:

Join the dedicated Nutrition and Dietetics team at Monash Children's Hospital as a Grade 2 Dietitian, where you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care to infants, children and adolescents.

 

In this role, you will provide comprehensive nutritional assessment and management for paediatric oncology and haematology patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, family-centred care and drive clinical excellence.

 

You'll be supported by a large and highly experienced team of Paediatric Dietitians, with structured onboarding, dedicated mentorship, targeted clinical upskilling and ongoing professional development to help you thrive in your career. Working under the leadership of the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession Lead, you'll also be part of the broader Children's Allied Health team, committed to delivering outstanding care for children and their families.

 

This position is primarily based at Monash Children's Hospital in Clayton, with occasional travel to other Monash Children's sites as required.

Monash Children’s Hospital is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, with more than 30 specialist services and programs. We have Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in many areas including Rehabilitation & Oncology.   Allied Health at Monash Children’s Hospital provides specialised services to paediatric patients across the continuum including inpatients, outpatients and via Hospital in the Home. 

 

 

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Hold a Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process 
  • Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia
  • Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership
  • Experience in paediatric
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the paediatric setting  
  • Clear, professional communication skills
