About the Role:

We are seeking a Grade 2 Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetics team across Monash Medical Centre, Moorabbin Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital on a part-time (0.4 EFT / 30.4 hours per fortnight), fixed-term basis until April 2027.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:

  • A full hearted, open minded and all in approach to delivering nutrition and dietetic care  
  • Demonstrated experience working in an acute care setting with strong clinical reasoning skills, including proficiency in managing patients requiring enteral nutrition 
  • Confident communication that enhances teamwork  
  • Experience leading or contributing to innovation through quality improvement or research initiatives 
  • Experience delivering clinical education to the multidisciplinary team, Grade 1 Dietitians and/or Dietetic students
  • Demonstrated accountability whilst working autonomously  

  

 Mandatory requirements of the role:  

  • Hold a Dietitians Australia (DA) accredited dietetics degree, or hold a DA mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand, or have passed the Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process 
  • Eligible for DA membership and Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status 
  • Availability to work after hours (evenings to 9pm) to facilitate cardiac rehabilitation 
  • Current Drivers Licence
