About the Role

Join our team as a Director Allied Health Monash Children’s in a part time, fixed term position working out of Monash Children’s Hospital at Clayton.

 

About Us

The Children’s Program provides high quality, equitable service to all children and adolescents. Operating as a single service across multiple inpatient and community sites, collaborative multidisciplinary teams work as an integrated model across the care continuum for children and their families, delivering exceptional care for future health outcomes. Volunteers and key partnerships, integrated into the clinical teams and in stand-alone services, enhance the experience of patients, families and visitors accessing the service. We provide exceptional care, outstanding outcomes and a positive experience for all children and their families.

 
About the team:
As a senior leader at Monash Children's, you will be part of a collaborative and high-performing Allied Health leadership team. This role offers the scope to influence service design, lead innovation, and shape workforce development across multiple sites and clinical settings. You will have the opportunity to champion evidence-based practice, foster research and education, and empower teams to achieve excellence in patient-centred care.

 

About You

You are a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong clinical background and a passion for service excellence. You thrive in complex environments, are confident in managing diverse teams, and bring a collaborative approach to leadership and are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Your forward thinking approach to care delivery
  • Extensive experience in clinical practice and team leadership
  • Proven ability to manage operational and strategic priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development

 

In addition:

  • Allied Health qualification with current AHPRA registration (as applicable) and / or eligibility for membership of relevant professional organisation
  • Post-graduate qualification in Health, Public Administration/Management, Health Research
