About You   

A proven Nursing and/or Midwifery leader with a demonstrated track record of success, you are an astute professional, passionate about the importance of clinical governance and its impact on the care we provide.  

 

You assimilate information quickly and are both confident and comfortable navigating complex workplace environments.  Always looking to the future, you are a recognised change agent who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, bringing a pragmatic approach to implementing and/or reconfiguring systems and structures that support the advancement of practice within the Nursing and Midwifery workforce.  

 

Further, you are known as an innovative thinker, with exemplary engagement skills, enabling you to readily develop and advance stakeholder relationships with ease.    

 

About the Role 

This senior leadership role is pivotal in the effective oversight of Nursing and Midwifery practice across Monash Health and will be accountable for providing strategic leadership and operational management of the Nursing and Midwifery Education and Practice Improvement team.   

 

Reporting to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, the incumbent will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development, implementation and evaluation of the strategic direction of the largest work group at Monash Health. It will drive safe, high quality, evidence -based practice organisation wide, through best practice education and clinical improvement models. 

 

This role offers a rare opportunity to undertake and advance the most comprehensive Educational and Clinical Practice improvement role across Nursing and Midwifery in Victoria.
