Both roles are senior medical education leadership positions within MDE and report directly to the Head of Medical Education. Please refer to both of the position descriptions and information below for full details of each role.

The ILP DCT has overarching responsibility for the design, implementation, monitoring and ongoing refinement of the Individual Learning Program. They also lead the PGY1-3+ Education and Training Committee.

Option 2: Lead, National Framework

The National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training has been implemented for PGY1-2 since 2024 at Monash Health. The DCT Framework Lead has overarching responsibility for the implementation, monitoring and ongoing refinement of implementation of the National Framework. They oversee the Intern and HMO programs (delivered by the intern / HMO DCTs and MEOs) to optimise junior doctor wellbeing, training and learning and satisfy the Framework requirements. They also oversee the activities of the Medical Education Fellow.
