About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.4 EFT Enrolled Nurse covering Plaster clinics on Tuesdays and Fridays for the Specialist Consulting Clinics at Monash Children's Hospital.
You will oversee a vast variety of patients in the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinics requiring plaster application, management and care. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team within a fun and encouraging environment.
About Us
The Specialist Consulting Clinics at Monash Children’s Hospital are a very busy outpatient service caring for children with both medical and surgical needs. All disciplines have a structured timetable of when nursing care is required to assist the multidisciplinary team in these clinic appointments.
The position will be on Tuesdays and Fridays, predominantly 0800-1630hrs but may require some later shifts to meet the needs of future afternoon clinics
About You
You are an experienced specialist/outpatient clinic nurse with exceptional plaster care experience. You can work confidently in this role with the support of the leadership team, providing the nursing care for children in the Orthopaedic and fracture clinics. You can demonstrate sound clinical judgement and are confident in your ability to work alongside the Multidisciplinary team.
You are also:
- Excited by the opportunity to continually learn and have exposure to some really unique experiences
- Experienced in Paediatric Orthopaedic nursing, particularly plaster application and care – essential
- Experienced Specialist Consulting/Outpatient nursing- essential
- Passionate about providing the highest quality care to those in your care and have a passion for, and understanding of, family centred care
- Thrive in a busy environment that keeps you on your toes and constantly developing
- Work collaboratively with the Specialist Consulting team to ensure a seamless consumer experience
