About the Role:
Join our team as an Exercise Physiologist Grade 2 on a part-time ongoing basis (0.50 EFT / 38 hours per fortnight) based at Monash Health Community Dandenong.
The role presents an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills and gain experience in the Community setting, and will be well suited to an experienced Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist looking for a change.
You will provide best practice patient care, while building strong partnerships within Monash Health and the wider community. Working alongside Senior Clinician Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, and Stream/Team Leaders, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional outcomes for patients. This unique role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with the 15-25 year old population, alongside a supportive team who cares about your well-being.
Please note this service includes after-hours work: Tuesday 9:00am-17:30pm and Thursday 10:30am-19:00pm.

Youth and Family Program
The Youth and Family Program is comprised of numerous disciplines that focus on the assessment and delivery of youth and family focused care. The multi/inter disciplinary team is committed to working with vulnerable and marginalised young people and adults by providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred, trauma informed practice and evidence-based services.
Youth Services Team
The Youth and Family Team supports young people 15-25 years of age (or equivalent developmental age) at our Tuesday and Thursday after school hours Youth Health Hubs, by providing individual assessments, support services and group programs.

Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Bachelor or Masters degree assessed as eligible for accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Eligible to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)
- Relevant professional experience working with adults in a rehabilitation or community setting
- Current Driver’s License
