HOPE Clayton Family/Carer Peer Worker Level 3
Exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the HOPE (Hospital outreach post suicidal engagment) program here at Atherton rd Oakleigh as the Family/ Carer Peer Worker.
About the Role and You
We are looking for a Level 3 Family/Carer Peer Worker to be a part of Clayton HOPE suicide intervention Team.
Monash Health has an established peer workforce of over 40 staff employed across our inpatient, community, and emergency department teams. Peer workers are all provided with discipline-specific supervision and a professional development opportunities including internal and external training, co-reflection groups, and a regular Mental Health Lived Experience workforce forum.
Working in a multi-disciplinary team made up of primarily psychosocial support worker and lived experience peer workers you will have your own Lived Experience of caring for a family member, friend or loved one with a mental illness.
For the Level 3 role, you will also have previous experience as a family/carer peer worker, and skills in mentoring and supervising others.
Location
The position will be based at Monash Health Atherton Road Adult Mental Health Program.
