About Monash Health GP Liaison Team:

We are dedicated to advancing healthcare through education, research, and clinical practice. Our GP Liaison team plays a key role in engaging with General Practitioners (GPs) and their support staff, delivering high-quality educational programs to enhance healthcare delivery across the region.

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Education Project Officer to join our GP Liaison team. This part-time role (16 hours per fortnight) will involve supporting the coordination, development, and delivery of education programs aimed at General Practitioners (GPs) and their teams. You will contribute to a range of activities, from webinar delivery to supporting administrative tasks related to education governance and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of online education events (webinars), ensuring smooth administration and execution.
  • Assist with the organization of GP education programs, courses, and workshops.
  • Provide administrative support for in-person education events including preparation, logistics, and on-site coordination.
  • Act as a liaison between guest speakers and the GP Liaison team, providing technical and operational support during education events.
  • Manage education data collection and ensure proper quality control/evaluation of webinars and programs.
  • Handle administrative duties related to outbound communication, including maintaining content on the Monash Health website, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist with the creation of written resources such as flyers, programs, and other educational materials.
  • Help with RACGP CPD applications for events and maintain accurate records, including GP contact lists and event attendance.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in a healthcare or education setting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with guest speakers, GPs, and team members.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks such as maintaining records, creating invoices, and handling event logistics.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in online education event coordination (webinars, workshops, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the RACGP CPD process and continuing education requirements for GPs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or GP Liaison activities is advantageous but not required.
