Physiotherapist Grade 3 – Subacute Neurosciences & Aquatic, Part time Fixed term, 0.4 EFT

Join our team as a Grade 3 Physiotherapist on a part time, fixed term (12months) basis at the Kingston Centre in Cheltenham.  We are excited to offer these opportunities to join the subacute Physiotherapy team.

Monash Health Physiotherapy is a dynamic service with dedicated, highly skilled physiotherapists. As a member of Monash Physiotherapy Team, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your clinical and leadership skills.

These 2 Grade 3 Subacute Physiotherapist roles have responsibility to provide physiotherapy clinical services in the Sub Acute Inpatient setting.

The Aquatic position is responsible for running the Aquatic service at the Kingston Centre and more broadly across Monash Health.  The caseload is varied, including neurosciences, amputees and orthopaedic diagnoses. To be successful in this role you will provide positive leadership to support the multi-disciplinary teams and the broader Monash Health Physiotherapy team.  You will be supported by Grade 4 Clinical Lead Physiotherapists and a large, progressive and dynamic Physiotherapy department.

While these roles are primarily based at the Kingston Centre, you may be required to work at any Monash Health site.  You will be responsible for the supervision of Grade 1 & 2 Physiotherapists, as well as providing support to Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapy students. There are opportunities to contribute to broader Allied Health leadership and ward governance. You will contribute to leadership within the Physiotherapy department, with opportunities for different portfolios, and will work closely with the operational Physiotherapy Manager regarding service development and innovations.

As part of the Allied Health team, you will be expected to work across sites as required.
