We also provide growing Cardiac services operating under Monash Heart Private at the Victorian Heart Hospital. Join our small but supportive Health Information Services team consisting of Health Information Managers, Clinical Coders and a Clinical Documentation Improvement Lead

Part-time role available (Ideally .6 EFT however room to negotiate flexible work hours for the successful candidate)

Maximum flexibility – work primarily from home or onsite, or a combination of both

Make your mark and deliver exceptional clinical coding whilst expanding your knowledge in an supportive environment
About the Role
Key duties and responsibilities:

Accurately code patient separations in a timely manner to help meet coding deadlines.

Liaise with clinical staff and HIS team to obtain all the necessary documentation required for coding

Manage and prioritise your workload effectively
-
Participate in ongoing education, training and quality improvement activities.

You are an organised individual who enjoys performing tasks to a high level of accuracy and has excellent attention to detail. You are able to work effectively in an independent role as well as contribute to a wider team. Prioritising daily tasks comes naturally to you and working for a non-for-profit health service you exhibit integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence that align with our organisation’s values.
