Rewarding Administration Role – Part Time

 

Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service. Our Monash Haematology Unit have a Part Time opportunity available.

  • The Administrative Assistant position supports the daily activities and growth of the Monash Haematology Unit. This is achieved through the coordination of all aspects of administration, including but not limited the following: Support and organisation of meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes as required
  • Oversee and manage the Monash Haematology Research Inbox
  • Oversee and manage patient folder delivery and internal mail
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Maintaining electronic and paper based record systems
  • Coordination and management of external stakeholder bookings

About you

You will bring to Monash Health your flare for innovative thinking. You will manage your workload well through your own initiative and ability to work in a fast paced environment. With your previous administration experience, this will come naturally to you.

In addition you will also possess:

  • Advanced computer literacy and communication skills
  • Proven experience in administration
  • Having previously worked in a health setting is advantageous

It provides haematology care to a population of approx. 1.3 million, making it one of the largest services in Australia. Key leadership areas in clinical care and research include: a) Lymphoma and CLL, b) Acute Leukaemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes, c) Venous Thromboembolic Disease, d) Haemoglobinopathy,  and e) Transfusion Medicine.
