About the Role
To assist with the coordination of Information Technology department BAU works and projects, the Information Technology department are recruiting for a motivated team coordinator. The position is a full time 12-month contract within the Information Technology department operating primarily from the Monash Health Clayton site.
The position requires a can-do attitude and strong coordination and organizational skills.
The successful applicant will be expected to prepare and present regular progress updates to appropriate Management channels.
Key result areas
Key Responsibilities for the position are as follows:
- Prepare and coordinate Authority to Commence Work Permits (ACWPs).
- Prepare IT Change Request documentation and notification.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external vendors in support of BAU and IT projects.
- Reporting on the project progress and creating project status reports for Information Technology management and stakeholders.
- Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the department, such as working with impacted employees to clearly document the nature of services impacted, duration and expected workarounds.
- Support the Technologists implementing changes associated with the projects by assisting with communications between the various parties during the project works.
- Provide information and regular support to stakeholders.
- Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to pre-determined timelines and key deliverable dates.
About you
Qualifications/registrations/licences (italics indicate desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field
Technical skills/knowledge/experience
- Working knowledge of public health.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- In-depth understanding of the IT change request process.
- Experienced in managing large-scale projects within the public health sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed skills in presenting and facilitating both in-person and online meetings.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrates a positive, adaptable approach while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing competing priorities efficiently and effectively under pressure.
