The Dandenong area mental health service is led by an innovative and supportive leadership team. The Continuing Care team model of care is a non-acute follow up for people with mental health issues, that are not met by generic services and require specialist mental health treatment. The service is aimed at providing case management support and treatment for clients with a severe/persistent mental illness aged 25 and over.

We are seeking a new team manager to join our Dandenong team on a full time basis working Monday to Friday 830-5pm.

In this leadership role you will work with adult consumers with varying degrees of mental illness and/or drug and alcohol dependency problems. The Continuing Care Team manager is expected to provide both clinical and operational oversight to the Continuing Care Team. Using clinical experience and expertise to support the treating team, clients families and carers to reach their goals of recovery.

What you need:

  • Evidence of commitment to working in mental health-Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health as outlined in the position description.
  • Demonstrated experience within an acute inpatient unit or similar
  • Understanding of AOD and Forensic Mental Health is desirable
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Relevant working rights/Visa
