About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the delivery and development of high-quality Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology services across Casey and Dandenong Hospitals and the Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services across Monash Health. This position will be a part-time job share arrangement, working 0.60 EFT / 22.8 hours per fortnight until 14th May 2027. Up to full-time hours are available available between 20th April and 15th May 2026.

This is a broad leadership role with both clinical and operational scope, offering the opportunity to shape services, influence outcomes, and contribute to system-wide improvement. Responsibilities will include:

Provide strategic and operational leadership across Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology services
Lead a large team, including 6 direct reports
Drive service innovation, research translation, and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure the consistent delivery of evidence-based care across the emergency department, acute, sub-acute, and specialist clinics
Support workforce sustainability through supervision, mentoring, and professional development
Partner with the Head of Profession and Allied Health leadership to strengthen care delivery across Monash Health

Reporting to the Head of Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology & Neurophysiology Science, you will play a pivotal role in service planning, operational oversight, and clinical leadership, ensuring patients and families receive safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care.

Qualification and licence requirements include:

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Drivers licence (travel between sites required)
