About Us - Monash Health Radiology 

Monash Health Radiology is seeking a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist (Radiographer) to join our rapidly growing workforce at Monash Medical Centre, Monash Childrens Hospital and the Victorian Heart HospitalOur MITs work across multiple modalities. Services across these sites include General X-ray, Theatre, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, DEXA, Fluoroscopy and Angiography. We provide an imaging service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is appropriate for both newly graduated Radiographers, and those who have been practicing for a number of years.   

Monash Health Radiology incorporates a full range of services including CT, US, MRI, DEXA, PET, Nuclear Medicine, X-Ray, OPG, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Interventional and Therapeutic imaging services at the Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital, Dandenong Hospital; Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre, Victorian Heart Hospital and the Pakenham Health Centre, Pakenham. Monash Health Radiology also supports the Monash University Biomedical Imaging site including MRI and PET MRI. The service provides over 365,000 imaging examinations per year across all sites, currently employs approximately 500 EFT and has a gross operating budget in excess of $100M.

About the Role and You

We currently have positions for a full time and a part time staff appointment. 

You will be working as part of the Radiology team providing quality diagnostic imaging care to emergency, inpatients and outpatients. Your ability to succeed in this role will be maximized if you can demonstrate a high standard of general x-ray and other modalities as applicable. You will be able to demonstrate:   

  • Motivation to succeed   

  • An enthusiastic attitude   

  • Good organisational skills   

  • Effective communication skills   

  • Ability to work solo and in a team environment   

  • Excellent radiographic skills with RIS/PACS experience is preferable
