About the Role - Grade 3 CT MIT  

To produce a high standard of quality images in the CT department. The role is a rostered shift work role, providing radiology services to the inpatients and emergency department patients as well as outpatients. 

Key result areas 

  • To provide the best possible education and training within the CT Department, including on all CT scanners and the 3D post processing lab, ensuring a high quality of patient care. 

  • Aiding the staff in the CT modality in gaining the necessary knowledge to enable them to carry out their tasks to the best of their ability. 

  • Administrative and technical support to the CT Grade 4 supervisors. 

  

About You 

Qualifications/ registrations/ licences:

  • A degree or equivalent in Medical Imaging which will comply with eligibility requirements for registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with AHPRA. 

  • Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with AHPRA. 

  • A Victorian Radiation Users License. 

  • A satisfactory Police Check is required for all new Monash Health employees. 

  • A Victorian (Employee) Working with Children Check is required. 

Technical skills/ knowledge/ experience:

  • Demonstrable advanced skills and knowledge and at least 7 years’ experience in CT Imaging. 

  • To assist the Grade 4 Supervisors with maintaining quality control of the MITs data entry for RIS/PACs and CT procedure codes.
