Monash Health has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, organised and motivated mental health nurse to join our Nursing and Midwifery Education and Strategy (NaMES) team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Community Education) in a full time/part time, fixed term role (Until Jan 2026)
About the Role
As an integral member of the NaMES and Senior Mental Health team, you will demonstrate leadership and the ability to develop and coordinate learning and growth opportunities to nursing staff within the organisation. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary nursing workforce issues, the ability to lead projects and fully engage with relevant stakeholders and consumers. This position will:

Contribute to delivering a future ready nursing workforce in Mental Health Community settings

Enrich the culture of learning and growth across the Mental Health Program and Monash Health
-
Coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of education programs, activities and initiatives
-
Lead and engage early in career and transition mental health nurses working in community settings to build their capacity to deliver high quality nursing services to consumers, carers and families
-
Organise and implement clinical supervision and mentoring for the community mental health nursing workforce
-
Work collaboratively with the leadership team including the multi-disciplinary team
-
Demonstrate agility and work as a change agent
Please note, it is a requirement to travel across sites.
