Monash Health is continuing on its journey of rolling out Electronic Medical Records (EMR) across its network. This next rollout will implement an end-to-end solution for our Maternity services. It will streamline the current hybrid workflows into a single integrated solution.
About the Role
This is a 4 month contract (with potential for extension) for 3 FTE.
The Midwife SME supports the documentation and mapping of midwifery workflows, ensuring effective integration with IT systems. This role is pivotal in validating, implementing, and adopting the Maternity module while contributing to change management, adoption and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

participating in workshops with stakeholders to document workflows

supporting project staff in maintaining workflow quality, and identifying downtime procedures.

conducts impact analyses on workflow design, assesses risks, provides input into decision papers for governance, and acts as a change champion.

Additionally, they support testing, develop training materials, and provide end-user support during the go-live phase.
About You
Skill and experience required:

Requires a combination of midwifery healthcare expertise, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Effective solution delivery involves gathering expert input and making informed design decisions through the governance process.

Clear communication and thorough documentation are essential for alignment with clinical and digital governance at Monash Health.

Collaboration and leadership in this role aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maternity services.
