Operations Coordinators Wanted – Join the Monash Doctors Workforce in Permanent Roles
The Monash Doctors Workforce is seeking Operations Coordinators to join our unit in part time, permanent positions. If you're looking for a dynamic role that offers both stability and flexibility, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
About the Role
These roles are classified as HS3 positions under the hospital administration award, and they include penalty rates for weekend and after-hours work. The positions will require weekend availability and offer the flexibility to work onsite or from home. Please note that rostered shifts will start as early as 6:00 AM and may finish as late as 10:00 PM, so flexibility in working hours is essential.
As you’ll be playing a vital role in supporting our Junior Medical Staff (JMS), candidates must demonstrate a high degree of customer service and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanour when interacting with both staff and stakeholder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage JMS rosters and ensure compliance with Monash Health policies and the Doctors in Training Enterprise Agreement.
- Coordinate leave planning and backfill cover for emergent JMS leave.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for JMS on HR-related queries.
- Responsible for promptly actioning general inquiries and ensuring efficient resolution of day-to-day operational matters
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to provide operational support and manage annual allocation plans.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of Medical Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience in medical workforce issues within a large tertiary hospital environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with recruitment systems.
