About the Role
Join our team as a Music Therapist on a part time (22.8 hrs a week) in an ongoing rotational role across various Monash Health settings with the first rotation to work at Monash Children’s Hospital based at Clayton.
This Grade 1 Music Therapist position is part of Monash Health’s structured rotational program, designed to support early-career clinicians in developing foundational skills, confidence and professional capability across diverse clinical settings.
The initial rotation focuses on acute paediatrics, where the clinician will deliver developmentally appropriate, patient- and family-centred music therapy as part of a multidisciplinary allied health team.
Future rotations may include:
- Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS)
- Subacute adult rehabilitation
- Acute adult inpatient care

What you need:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Music Therapy from an approved training course
- Eligible for current membership and registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Inc.
- Current ARIA Music Therapist Copyright & Reproduction licence
