About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 1 Neurophysiology Scientist on a fulltime ongoing basis, based at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton. Travel to other Monash Health sites such as Casey, Dandenong and the Victorian Heart Hospital on a rotational basis will be required.
In this exciting role you will play a key role in setting up and performing EEGs for both adults and children. You’ll work closely with the Grade 4 Clinical Lead Neurophysiology Scientist and Senior Scientists to support quality projects to improve clinical care, while also performing neurodiagnostic tests developed by our expert team. With opportunities to travel between sites and participate in an on-call roster, this role offers variety and the chance to grow in a dynamic, evolving field.

About Us:
Offering the chance to work with both paediatric and adult patients in a variety of clinical areas including neurology, general medicine and intensive care. Our neurophysiology scientists work in both bed-based and outpatient settings, delivering care across multiple Monash Health sites, collaborating closely with both adult and paediatric neurologists.

About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Willingness to work within a team and with other disciplines, to achieve patient centred care
- A ‘can do’ attitude, self-driven and a life-long learner
- Previous experience as a Neurophysiology Scientist is preferable however not essential as training will be provided
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with majors in Physiology (not essential, but preferable)
