About the Role
We’re seeking motivated Pharmacists to join the team. We’re also keen to hear from intern pharmacists expecting to register by early 2025.
There’s no better place to start your pharmacy career than at Monash Health. Working in Victoria’s largest Hospital Pharmacy Department, you can enhance your knowledge through a broad range of rotations designed to give you experiences and exposure to a variety of specialist practice areas and locations across including the Victorian Heart Hospital.
Our team of award-winning pharmacy clinical educators will support you to develop your clinical pharmacy skills through individualised training tailored to your needs.
A Day in the Life
In these roles, our Grade 1 Pharmacists will:
- Provide best practice pharmacy services and exceptional patient-centred care by ensuring medication safety and optimising medication management to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
- Provide pharmacy services as part of pharmacy and interprofessional teams in a range of pharmacy practice settings and Monash Health sites through operational and clinical pharmacy rotations
Pharmacists work an 8-hour shift per day between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, plus some rostered overtime including weekends and public holidays. For part time roles, we require a minimum commitment of at least 2 weekdays per week.

About You
You are an early career pharmacist (hospital or community) or have completed your intern year in 2024. You’re enthusiastic to develop your clinical and/or operational pharmacy skills and ready to take the next step in your career. You are a role model, thrive working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering best practice pharmacy services to all patients, carers and health care professionals.
