About the Role:

  • Full-time permenant clinical leadership role
  • Monday to Friday 8-430
  • Work collaboratively with the on-site clinical team.
  • Partner with the Wellways Australia manager to ensure delivery of holistic recovery oriented mental health care.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders,families and carers as indicated.
  • Engage with care planning across a 10-14 day stay
  • Engage with Youth community services.
  • Ensure all admissions and discharges are safe and timely.

 

About us:

Monash Health has 5 PARCS (Prevention and Recovery Care),with YPARC being the only Youth ,sub-acute,residential mental health facility that provides care to young persons who require ongoing support after a hospital stay (step-down) or enhanced care if coming from the community (step-up).

Parcs are staffed by a clinical team (Doctors,Registered Nurses) in partnership with Wellways Australia and incorporates comprehensive support assessment and delivery of evidence-based treatment and onward referral for young persons aged  up to 25 and who reside in the Monash Health catchment area

 

About You :

To ensure your sucess in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills,experience and knowledge:

  • Passion for working in Youth  mental health
  • Sound understanding of recovery orientated mental health frameworks
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively
