About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit (P Block) at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention to consumers receiving acute inpatient mental health care. You will support consumers to improve their mental health, functional capacity, and quality of life through evidence-based, recovery-oriented practice.

This role includes delivering individual and group-based interventions, contributing specialist occupational therapy expertise to care planning, and supporting consumers to navigate psychosocial challenges that may impact their recovery and discharge. You will work closely with community mental health teams, families, carers, and NDIS stakeholders to facilitate safe and effective transitions from inpatient care back into the community.

As a senior clinician, you will also contribute to clinical supervision, professional development activities, service improvement initiatives, and the ongoing development of occupational therapy practice within the team.
