About the Role
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist, Grade 1 on a full time, ongoing basis.
The Grade 1 Paediatric Occupational Therapist will provide clinical care across three services during the rotation program with 12 months in each sector of the program. Rotations include time in the Monash Children’s Hospital (MCH) Acute Program, Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Program (VPRS) and Child and Family Program-Monash Health Community. The MCH acute and the VPRS rotations are based at Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton and provide support to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The MCH Child and Family Community rotation is an outpatient program based at various Monash Health community sites. Flexibility to travel to all sites is expected including time at Pakenham, Cranbourne and Springvale as directed.
The Grade 1 Occupational Therapist is expected to provide high quality patient centred care through the use of competent clinical skills, effective communication, and evidence-based knowledge. Active participation within the Occupational Therapy service and ward-based multidisciplinary teams is essential.
