About the Role
Primary Care Support Team, as part of the Community Assessment and Response Directorate offers a variety of programs that assist individuals to manage chronic health conditions, focusing on the assessment and delivery of client focused care. The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred care, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Grade 2 Occupational Therapist on a Full Time Ongoing basis.
A Day in the Life
As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist, you will use your specialist knowledge and skills to conduct client assessment and intervention independently, incorporating remedial, compensatory, educational and preventative strategies to achieve optimal evidence-based consumer care and to support consumer health and wellbeing through occupation and consideration of the person and their environment. You will also provide supervision to junior occupational therapists and assist with the development of strong, evidence based practice within Primary Care Support Program and as well as the broader Community Assessment Response Team (CART).

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or relevant equivalent degree

Current AHPRA registration

Current Driver’s License
