About Monash Health Pathology Service
Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of two new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. All roles in the Pathology Programs are working to develop the Partnership and ensure we continue to provide high quality care across the health Services. Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 19 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.
Now Recruiting a Pathology Client Relationship Manager - Full Time Permanent Ongoing
The Pathology Client Relationship Manager will support the strategic plans of Monash Health and operational imperatives of Monash Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the patient focused services of Monash Health Pathology to medical centres, specialists, GPs and other referrers across the Monash Health catchment. In addition, the role will work in tandem with the Monash Health Pathology team to deliver results, manage issues and problems, facilitate IT access and training issues, grow market share and foster long tern relationships with referrers.
To be considered for this role, you will have knowledge of pathology disciplines and experience in a pathology/medical/pharmaceutical sales role. You will be responsible for promoting to and educating general practitioners, allied health professionals and medical specialists about our service. Your role will ensure maintenance of services levels to existing clientele, while increasing market share and bringing in new business. We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable working independently to achieve results and drive success. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop strategies and implement solutions autonomously to meet the goals of the role.
Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A knowledge of pathology disciplines
- Experience in pathology/medical representative role
- An understanding of the Melbourne medical/pathology market
- A strong customer-focus
- A degree qualification
- A minimum of 12 months sales experience would be highly desirable
Regardless of background, excellent inter-personal and written skills are required. Candidates should be prepared for moderate travel throughout the South East regions of Melbourne. Competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
