Jessie McPherson Private Hospital is a tertiary level Private Hospital which has been co-located at Monash Medical Centre Clayton since 1987. Our co-location with Monash Health provides a unique opportunity for access to world renowned research and teaching facilities. The relocation of the JMPH Cardiac services to the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) in March 2023, has resulted in Cardiac Services being re-branded to Monash Heart Private (operated by Jessie McPherson Private Hospital). Jessie McPherson Private Hospital also has a wider official specialist role for greater Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate in such specialties as cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neuro-surgery, gastro surgery, high acuity maternity and neonatal services.

About the Role 
The Patient Relationship Officer role operates within a range of competencies and skills that are required to ensure the effective and smooth management of admissions, discharges and transfers across the hospital. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position, working across multiple locations. You’ll be welcomed into a positive and supportive environment, passionate about delivering care to a diverse and growing local community. You’ll also enjoy working in brand new facilities in a dedicated heart hospital. The Victorian Heart Hospital will be Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital. Key duties and responsibilities:  

  • Provide friendly, courteous & professional greetings and support to all visitors  

  • Reception meet and greet  

  • Admitting and discharging patients  

  • Great customer service is essential for this role.   

  • Working on a rotational roster  

 

About You  

You are a proactive individual who enjoys fast paced environment and is able to work effectively in an independent role. Prioritising comes naturally to you and being in a hospital environment you exhibit integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
