About the Role
We are expanding our Patient Services Assistant pool team and are seeking qualified PSAs to deliver high-quality support to patients, visitors and colleagues.
Pool staff work across morning, afternoon and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday, with guaranteed part-time hours.
PSAs play a vital role in patient care through tasks such as cleaning of clinical areas, patient transfers, equipment handling and mortuary transfers; all whilst supporting our clinical teams, maintaining safety, infection prevention and control, privacy, confidentiality and dignity of patients at all times.
We have the following opportunities available:

Casey Hospital
(Guaranteed permanent 45 hours per fortnight)

- AM: Shifts starting between 7:00 am – 9:00 am – finishing by 5:30 pm
- PM: Shifts starting between 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm – finishing by 11:30 pm
- Night: 11:30 pm – 7:30 am

Clayton
(Guaranteed permanent 48 or 60 hours per fortnight)

- AM: Shifts start between 6:00 am - 10:00 am, finishing by 6:00 pm.
- Early Afternoon: Shifts start between 10:30am - 12:00 pm, finishing by 8:00 pm.
- Late afternoon: Shifts start between 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm, finishing by 11:00 pm.
- Night: Shifts start between 10:00pm - 11:00 pm, finishing by 7:00 am.

Dandenong Hospital
(Guaranteed permanent 45.6 hours per fortnight)

- AM: Shifts starting between 6:30 am – 11:00 am – finishing by 7:00 pm
- PM: Shifts starting between 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm – finishing by 12:30 am
- Night: Shifts starting between 5:30 pm – 11:00 pm – finishing by 7:30 am

Victorian Heart Hospital
(Guaranteed permanent 35 or 40 hours per fortnight)

- AM: Shifts starting between 6:30 am – 7:00 am start, finishing by 3:00 pm
- Middle: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
- PM: Shifts starting between 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm start, finishing by 11:00 pm
- Night: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am
About You
To be successful in this role, you bring PSA experience preferably in a hospital or aged care setting, with a strong focus on patient care, safety, teamwork and infection control practices.
You have strong communication skills and a reliable, team-focused approach. An essential requirement is Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
